Boyd & Associates’ goal is to be one of the most trusted and effective substance abuse treatment and recovery centers in the community. We aim to achieve and maintain this goal by providing a wide range of services, including, but not limited to, community outreach, substance abuse education, and individual and group out-patient counseling. Services will be both preventive and rehabilitative in focus.

Boyd & Associates services have been shaped by its predecessor, Boyd, Modlin, & Rulli. Over the past 25 years, Boyd & Associates have realized that clients could adapt to society and the community through our rehabilitation services.

OUR SERVICES

Out-Patient Group Treatment
Group treatment for substance focuses on problems of daily living such as abstinence, recovery, legal, social, vocational and/or educational concerns.

Substance Abuse
Education for DUI offenders is aimed at adults who have been convicted of first offense DUI or are multiple DUI offenders who may benefit from education as a first part of their program elected problems of depression, bi-polar disorders, substance abuse or sexual abuse.

Assessment
DUI Assessment is a mandated State of Kentucky activity which precedes a client’s placement into a level of service. The assessment process uses the State of Kentucky approved DUI Assessment Test and a multi-faceted psychosocial interview.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

The Boyd & Associates’ philosophy is ideally suited to the needs of adults who use the agency’s services. We believe that all persons have the potential for living more satisfying lives. We place a strong emphasis on respect and support for persons with problems of substance abuse. Our services are of the highest professional standards and meet the mandated specifications of the Cabinet for Health Services, Division of Substance Abuse/DUI Programs. Through the provision of services under the Boyd & Associate’s philosophy, individuals may be able to reduce harmful behaviors which have resulted in legal problems and various issues of harmful involvement. Clients are encouraged to be actively engaged in the process of developing the Individualized Education or Treatment Plan. The client’s needs and plans are carefully considered, and all development of the client’s plan frequently includes several services. A schedule of the client’s programs with time, days, and services is provided to each client.

• Their symptoms and behavior are under reasonable control
• Their lifestyle changes from one of inactivity, passitivity, and disorganized living to one of greater activity, interaction and organized habits involving such behaviors as participation, attendance, and punctuality.
• They can fit in with peer employees and respond to supervision;
• They develop greater self-efficiency, independence and a sense of responsibility; and
• The idea of employment, self-respect and earning one’s way are sufficiently strong to overcome total dependence on welfare, SSI, and other forms of subsidized assistance.
