Management Referral
When a valuable employee’s work performance, attitude and/or behavior becomes unacceptable and traditional corrective techniques are not working, Boyd & Associates can offer a management referral process. Individual counseling focuses the employee on achieving the desired improvement. A conflict management component can be included where appropriate. In order to sustain the desired improvement, a behavioral contract can be developed with management participation (at the conclusion of this process)
What is the cost of Body & Associates Corporate Services Program?
- Employers can select various services from B & A. These would depend on the employer’s interest or need.
- B & A Corporate Services are billed at a rate of $150.00 per hours for a project of 5 hours or less. Larger projects (over 5 hours) would be billed at a lower rate per hour.

What is our Corporate Services Program?
In our Corporate Services Program, we work with the company — owners, managers, supervisors, and Human Resources — as our client.
When workforce productivity, collaboration or morale is deteriorating due to conflict, change, personnel or supervisory problems, Boyd & Associates can assist your company in determining the causes and addressing the issues.
To meet new workplace challenges, we can assist employees in addressing their attitudes toward motivation, productivity, and success; we can assist new workgroups with team building initiatives.
What Kinds of “Services” will Employers Receive?
B&A’s Corporate Services Program provides the following kinds of services: consultation; organizational diagnosis and intervention; coaching; training; critical incident stress debriefing; and wellness education.
Consultation Services regarding:
- Problem employees (deteriorating work performance, unacceptable attitude/behavior on the job)
- Threats of violence in the workplace
- Prevention of workplace violence; Drug Free Workplace
- Workgroup, team or co-worker conflict
- Manager self-care & survivor issues from reorganization, downsizing, change
- Management referral
Organizational Diagnostics & Intervention:
- When a workgroup or team is in conflict and/ or not working effectively, 13&A’s Corporate staff can diagnose the situation, assess the needs, make recommendations, and where appropriate, assist management with an intervention.
- During an organizational intervention, B&A staff will provide on-going process consultation to prepare management to take over the project and to prevent problem reappearance.
Coaching to assist managers & supervisors who have:
- A problem employee
- A potentially violent employees
- Employees who are in conflict
- The responsibility to notify employees being laid off
Critical Incident Stress Debriefing:
- Following a death, serious accident, tragedy, or act of violence, B&A corporate staff will conduct on-site sessions to assist your employees in understanding, normalizing, and dealing constructively with their feelings.
