Families In Transition Program
The F.I.T. Program is required for persons filing for divorce who have children from birth to seventeen years of age in order to receive a final dissolution of marriage in Boone, Gallatin and Campbell Counties. The counties of Grant, Owen, Carroll and Pendleton are now starting to also require the F.I.T. Program for divorce cases. An individual filing for divorce in those counties will need to check with the court in order to see which program hey would be required to attend. The F.I.T. program is a six hour program that we divide in to two three hour sessions. Individuals divorcing each other are NOT permitted to attend the class together.
Boyd & Associates typically holds the F.I.T. Program on the second and third weekends of every month at our Florence location and the first and fourth weekends of every month at our Newport location.
